Zombies are deceased people or animal who have resurrected by chemical compound called "Trioxin". they are the main antagonists of John A. Russo's Living Dead series.
Creation[]
Any corpse becomes a zombie due to an exposure of 2-4-5 Trioxin in any form (gas, liquid or solid). The dead issues will be recovered or in other word "ressurected" within the few seconds and reanimated, even through corpses are only skeletons left; however, living humans can become zombies if they're directly exposed to Trioxin, unlike corpses, the zombification on humans take a long time. Depending on the film in the series, Trioxin zombies may or may not be able to contaminate living humans with Trioxin via bite, as seen in Return of the Living Dead and Return of the Living Dead Part II, zombies cannot contaminate humans via bite; however, since Return of the Living Dead III onwards, any humans can be turned if they're bitten by zombie. If a zombie corpse is stored for too long in a sealed container, the decomposition process will generate noxious gases containing trace amounts of Trioxin, so the drum can only be safely opened in a sealed lab environment.
Abilities[]
These zombies are different than zombies in other living dead films, they are nearly immortal. Trioxin zombies cannot be killed with almost every weapons. Another ability that make Russo's zombies different from Romero's and Snyder's are their intelligent, ability in talking and using weapons.
It is unknown why zombies can still talk when they are decapitated, because vocal cords inside the neck might be teared when the zombie got beheaded.
Behavior[]
In Russo's version of Living Dead series, if bodies are still in good condition when they are reanimated, then the resulting zombies really are capable of the same things as normal living humans. Basically, they are like normal humans but with an uncontrollable need to eat brains, which ease the great and constant pain felt from their own decomposition. Depending on their own intelligence, from their previous life, they can actually resist their need for eating brains to the benefit of survival and to elaborate some "brain hunting" tactics. This goes as far as posing as a normal living human like a cop signaling cars to stop on the side or like someone calling friends or people and asking them for help, basically anything to attract and trap new living fresh brains when they get close enough.
Weaknesses[]
There are only three things that can kill the zombies for sure. They are fire, a nuclear bomb, and a special chemical bullet that can the freeze zombie's cells. Electricity can also kill zombies, but it's unable to completely kill all of them. Some of the zombies can still survive the electrocution but they cannot move their bodies anymore (except for their mouths).
