Slack was a prostitute in Fiddler's Green who becomes a member of Riley Denbo's crew after he saved her. She play as the newest recruit in the team.
She serves as one of the two deutaragonist of Land of the Dead, along side Charlie Houk.

Background[]
Slack was once a resident of a major city before the Stenches hit the world, she eventually ended up a civilian of Fiddler's Green and, while attempting to apply for military outfitting, was forced to become a prostitute instead. She tried to help the poor of the city with Mulligan's faction, for which its overseer Paul Kaufman has her used as part of a gamble in a zombie fight ring at Chihuahua's joint.
Land of the Dead[]
When Charlie Houk and Riley Denbo see Slack being forced to fight two attacking zombies in a ring. The former kills both zombies while the latter kills Chihuahua, for which all three of them are imprisoned.
When Cholo uses the stolen Dead Reckoning to hold the city for ransom, Riley, Slack, and Charlie are released from prison to go on a mission and prepare to go on a mission with Manolete, Motown, and Pillsbury to stop Cholo. They head to the army post to get a vehicle, but find it destroyed by a zombie attack.
While Slack and Charlie stay with the jeep, Charlie shoots a zombie behind Slack without telling her and making it seem that he was aiming at her. Slack then gets even with Charlie by doing the same to kill a zombie lurking behind him, though she wounds his ear lightly.
They drive off in the direction of Dead Reckoning, which Riley is tracking with a homing device. After Slack discovers Manolete has been bitten, she mercifully kills him. The group finds Dead Reckoning, and capture Cholo and his group. While Foxy and Cholo depart into the wilderness, Riley, Slack, and the rest of the group along with Pretty Boy return to the city in Dead Reckoning.
When the group finally reach the gates of Fiddler's Green, they find they city overrun with zombies, and everyone seemingly dead. Riley orders Pretty Boy to fire at the gates, which she does. Dozens of survivors then come out of hiding, with plans to rebuild the city free of Kaufman's tyranny. They offer Riley's group to stay and help them, but they decline. As Riley, Slack, Charlie, Pillsbury and Cholo's ex-group prepare to leave for Canada, they see Big Daddy leading his zombie army out of the city.
Slack and the group then depart north in Dead Reckoning, firing the fireworks they no longer need into the sky to celebrate.
Personality[]
Slack is timid yet aggressive. She fought for her survival as she endures months and years of doing anything to survive. After being rescued by Riley, she becomes grateful of his help and even formed a bond with him when they are inside the prison.
Over the time, Slack becomes attached to Riley and his friends as they take care of her. Though she remained somewhat shy, she still wasn’t afraid to speak roughly to stand up for her friends.
